The Agency is an American espionage thriller television series from Paramount+ with Showtime, based on the critically acclaimed French series Le Bureau des Légendes created by Éric Rochant. The series premiered on November 29, 2024. In December 2024, the series was renewed for a second season.
The series is set within the department responsible for training and handling deep-cover agents on long-term missions who live under false identities for years. The Agency centers on covert CIA agent Martian, who is ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station. When the love he left behind unexpectedly reappears, their romance reignites, pitting his career, his real identity and his mission against his heart while hurling them both into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage.
