The Midwich Cuckoos: Village of the Damned Episode 1
The Midwich Cuckoos is a British science fiction television series created by David Farr, based on the 1957 book of the same name by John Wyndham. It began airing on June 2, 2022 on Sky Max and all episodes became available on Sky On Demand. The series will premiere on Acorn TV and AMC+ on October 17, 2024. The sci-fi horror drama series stars Keeley Hawes and Max Beesley.
The series is set in the small English village of Midwich. One summer evening, every person within a set area of the town suddenly and inexplicably falls unconscious. As they recover from the devastating effects of the blackout, a horrifying discovery is made. Something deeply disturbing and supernatural has taken root – and the idyllic town will never be the same again.
