Sweet Tooth Season 3 Netflix
Sweet Tooth is an American fantasy drama television series developed by Jim Mickle, based on the comic book series of the same name created by Jeff Lemire and published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. The series premiered on Netflix in June 2021, and was renewed through to a third and final season, which is set to premiere on June 6, 2024.
The series is set in a world in which a virus has killed a majority of the world’s human population, coinciding with the emergence of hybrid babies that are born with animal characteristics. Sweet Tooth follows Gus, a naïve and lovable 10-year-old who is part human and part deer, on an epic adventure across a postapocalyptic world. He searches for family and home with a gruff protector named Tommy Jepperd, a traveler and reformed hunter of hybrids who saves Gus from poachers and reluctantly accompanies him on his journey.
From executive producers Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey comes the epic conclusion of the beloved, award-winning series. In the final season, having defeated General Abbot in the battle at Pubba’s Cabin, Gus, Jepperd, Becky, and Wendy embark on a journey to Alaska in search of Gus’s mother, Birdie, who has been working to uncover the mysterious origins of the deadly Sick. Along the way, they are joined by Dr. Singh. Meanwhile, a new threat emerges in the form of Helen Zhang, her daughter Rosie, and the ferocious Wolf Boys, who seek to restart human birth and view Gus as the solution to their plans.
