Sting 2024
Sting is written and directed by filmmaker Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, Wyrmwood: Apocalypse, Nekrotronic). It is set to be released by Well Go USA on April 12, 2024 in US theaters nationwide.
The horror thriller film is produced by Chris Brown, Jamie Hilton, and Michael Pontin. It premiered at Miami Film Festival on April 6, 2024. Sting stars Alyla Browne, Ryan Corr, Penelope Mitchell, Robyn Nevin, and Noni Hazlehurst.
Sting follows Charlotte, a rebellious 12-year-old girl obsessed with comic books. She discovers a strange little spider, keeps it as a secret pet, and names it Sting. Unbeknownst to her, the creature recently emerged from an egg that has fallen from the sky. As Charlotte’s fascination with Sting increases, so does its size. Growing at a monstrous rate, Sting’s appetite for blood becomes insatiable.
