Dinner with the Parents is a new single-camera comedy series created by Jon Beckerman, and is a remake of the British comedy series created by Robert Popper and Caroline Leddy. The first four episodes will be available to stream exclusively on Amazon Freevee in the U.S. beginning on Thursday, April 18, with two additional episodes available each Thursday until the finale on May 9, 2024.
The series centers on two brothers in their 20s who go to their mom and dad’s dinner every Friday evening. The weekly family get-together of the closely-knit Langers prove that it takes those we love best to bring out our worst. On tonight’s menu: pranks, schemes, unwelcome neighbors, childhood crushes, at least one felony, many very bad decisions, and a scrumptious, freshly-baked apple crisp.
