Halo is an American military science fiction television series produced by Showtime in association with 343 Industries and Amblin Television for Paramount+, with . It is based on the video game franchise of the same name. Halo debuted on March 24, 2022 and was renewed for a second season, which premiered on February 8, 2024.
The series centers on the epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, a theocratic-military alliance of several alien races determined to eradicate mankind. Halo stars Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, with Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Jen Taylor,and Natascha McElhone. Taylor reprises her voice role as Cortana from the video game series.
In season two, Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the Covenant. In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John feels that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe – that the Covenant are preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold.
