Abaddon’s Pit is a science fiction drama thriller co-written and co-directed by Jason Egan and Matthew Nash, in their second feature together following the acclaimed 2020 sci-fi thriller Walk Away. It is set to be released by BayView Entertainment in the US via the internet on April 1, 2024.
The sci-fi drama is executive produced by Rob Coshow and James Manning, with Alyssa Talbot serving as co-producer. Abaddon’s Pit already bagged two awards, namely Best Dramatic Actress (Faith Kelly) at the Tabloid Witch Awards and Best Film – Europa Prize – Platinum at LASCIFI.
Abaddon’s Pit tells the story of Dave, who is tormented by the loss of his beloved wife Samara and seeks solace in his family’s abandoned farm. He reconnects with his cousin Gareth. Their lives soon take a surreal turn upon discovering a mysterious bottomless pit on the property. This pit possesses the power to alter anything that ventures into its depths. Dave and Gareth find themselves drawn into the pit’s enigmatic allure, delving deeper into its transformative mysteries.
