A Million Days 2024
A Million Days is a science fiction drama directed by Mitch Jenkins (Show Pieces, The Show) from a screenplay written by Michael Dobbin and Guillaume Fradin. It is set to be released by Freestyle Releasing in select US theaters and on Digital Platforms on October 4, 2024.
The sci-fi film is produced by Dobbin, Chris Hamilton, Eva Lewucha, and Charles Meunier. A Million Days had its world premiere at FrightFest London on August 25, 2023. The film stars Simon Merrells, Hermione Corfield, Kemi-Bo Jacobs, and Darrell D’Silva.
Set in 2041, A Million Days follows Anderson, the lead astronaut in a mission to create the first lunar colony which is about to launch after decades of training and research. Jay, an AI purpose built for the mission, has simulated every possible outcome for the expedition. But tensions arise when the chilling motives of Jay become apparent, sowing the seeds of distrust between Anderson, and the group that had gathered to quietly celebrate the launch. As the night descends into chaos, the group’s faith in one another and their mission begins to crack, with the knowledge that the decisions they make before sunrise, will change humanity forever.
