Twisters 2024
Twisters is an American epic disaster film directed by Lee Isaac Chung (Munyurangabo, Lucky Life, Abigail Harm, Minari) from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith. The film is a standalone sequel to the 1996 blockbuster film Twister. It is scheduled to be released worldwide by Universal Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures on July 19, 2024.
The action thriller film is produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley. Twisters stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Maura Tierney, Kiernan Shipka, Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Sasha Lane, and Nik Dodani.
Twisters centers on opposing forces who come together to try to predict, and possibly tame, the immense power of tornadoes. Principal photography took place in metro Oklahoma City. Other locations included Chickasha, Okarche, El Reno, Spencer, and Cashion.
