The Desiring is a drama film directed by Byron Lamarque, who previously directed the 2012 drama Dancing with Shadows. The screenplay is written by Graham Pritz-Bennett. The Desiring is scheduled to be released by Freestyle Releasing on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube Movies, Cable and Satellite On Demand on March 1, 2024.
The film is produced by Lamarque and Pritz-Bennett. It premiered at the RiverRun International Film Festival on May 11, 2021 where it won the Audience Choice Award. The Desiring also bagged several awards from different festivals including Outstanding Director at The Art of Brookly Film Festival; Best Cinematography and Best First Time Screenwriter at the Prague International Film Festival; and Best Supporting Actor and Best Emerging Director at the Seattle Film Festival.
