Frogman 2024
Frogman is a found footage horror film produced and directed by genre filmmaker Anthony Cousins, in his feature directorial debut. The screenplay is co-written by Cousins and John Karsko. Frogman was released by Rotting Press on Collector’s Version VHS on February 9, 2024. It will be available on VOD / digital platforms starting March 8, 2024.
The film premiered at the 2023 Telluride Horror Show on October 13, 2023. Frogman won Best Found Footage Feature at the 2023 FilmQuest. Starring Nathan Tymoshuk, Chelsey Grant, Benny Barrett, Ali Daniels, Michael Paul Levin, and Justen Jones.
Frogman follows Dallas Kyle, who at age 12, captured footage of the mythical Frogman in the summer of 1999. But no one believed it was real. Twenty years later, Dallas, now an amateur filmmaker struggling to turn his passion into a career, returns to Loveland with his two friends Amy and Scotty determined to obtain irrefutable proof that the Frogman exists. But what starts as an innocent documentary soon turns into a nightmare as Dallas uncovers the horrific secrets hidden beneath Loveland’s idyllic surface.
