County Rescue Season 1
County Rescue is an an action-adventure medical drama created by Brian Baugh, who also serves as executive producer along with JD DeWitt. It is the first-ever original series of the Great American Family network. County Rescue had its worldwide debut on the company’s streaming platform, Great American Pure Flix on February 23, 2024 and will feature new episodes every Friday for the series’ first season of five episodes. Episode one is set to premiere on Great American Family on February 26, 2024 at 8PM EST.
The series centers on Dani (Julia Reilly), a rookie at one EMT unit whose medical team saves lives while guiding themselves and each other through journeys of love, hope and faith. Dani and the other EMTs in training are courageous, everyday heroes. But with only one opening for three trainees, her faith in herself is tested each and every call. Dani believes her calling is to save lives. Now, she has to prove it.
County Rescue features a remarkable ensemble cast led by Julia Reilly and Riley Hough alongside co-stars Percy Bell, Kristin Wollett, Brett Varvel, Stacey Patino, Tim Ross, Keller Fornes, Angel Luis, and Curtia Torbert. Music star Colton Dixon also guest stars.
In the premiere episode, Dani answers a personal calling to become an EMT at County Rescue where she meets Tim, also a new probationary. They meet Chief Scotty, who lets them know unexpected budget cuts will only allow him to hire one new EMT. The Fire Chief’s son, Griffin, is also a contender for the job and is confident he will be the hire. At home, Dani seeks support from her family who are skeptical that she will stick with her calling.
