Sunrise 2024
When an ex-cop named Fallon (Alex Pettyfer) returns to the scene of a horrific crime, the residents of a rural town in Northern Ireland soon discover that this dark visitor is really a vampire who feeds on blood and fear. After he is befriended by a kind immigrant family, the instinctive killer is faced with a choice between revenge and redemption.
Sunrise is directed by the Irish filmmaker Andrew Baird, director of the films Zone 414 and One Way previously, plus tons of other short films. The screenplay is by Academy Award-nominated writer Ronan Blaney (Love Bite, Don’t Go). Produced by Martin Brennan, Ford Corbett, Nathan Klingher, and Jib Polhemus. This hasn’t premiered at any festivals or elsewhere, as far as we know.
