It originally premiered in the USA on August 2, 2001. The Others will be re-released in select theaters by known reissue distributor Rialto Pictures, on August 11, 2023.
The gothic supernatural thriller is produced by Fernando Bovaira, Jose Luis Cuerda, and Sunmin Park. It stars Nicole Kidman, Fionnula Flanagan, Christopher Eccleston, Elaine Cassidy, Alakina Mann, James Bentley, and Eric Sykes.
The Others is one of the most critically acclaimed horror films of the 21st Century and opened to both critical and box office success upon original release, grossing $209.9 million worldwide. It is considered as one of the best psychological horror films of all time. The film won 8 Goya Awards including Best Film and Best Director. Lead star Nicole Kidman earned a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Drama and a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
