La Montagne movie
The Mountain (aka La Montagne in French) is directed by French actor, writer, and filmmaker Thomas Salvador, in his second feature film after the fantasy comedy drama Vincent (2014). The screenplay is written by Naïla Guiguet and Thomas Salvador. It already opened in France on February 1, 2023. The Mountain is set to be released on September 1, 2023 in select US theaters, by Strand Releasing.
The mystery adventure drama is produced by Julie Salvador. The Mountain had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on May 25, 2022 where it won the SACD Award – Directors’ Fortnight. The Mountain also won the Golden Anchor Award for Best Debut Film at the Haifa International Film Festival.
