Bootyology 2023
Bootyology is a mockumentary comedy film directed by Joe Eddy (Coyote, Chasing Bullitt), from a screenplay he co-wrote with Chris Lightbody and Spencer Yaras, who are collectively known as the rap duo The Booty Boys. Bootyology is set to be released on VOD by Gravitas Ventures on August 22, 2023.
The raunchy parody is produced by Ryan Richter and Joe Eddy, for Headcase Pictures and Lightbody, Robert Steinmiller Jr., and Yaras for District 78. Bootyology stars Brian Austin Green, Andy Kindler, David Theune, Chris Lightbody, Spencer Yaras, Alysha Young, and Megan Duffy.
Bootyology won 9 awards so far, including Award of Excellence – Feature Film at the Accolade Competition; Best Narrative Feature at the Malibu Film Festival 2022; Honorable Mention – Feature Film at the Big Apple Festival and Screenplay Competition; Oscar Ray’s Shameless DIY Marketing Award – Feature Film and Feature Film Award – Best Experimental Feature at the Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival; Best Feature and Best Actress, at the Golden Door International Film Festival of Jersey City; Best Score at Marina Del Rey Film Festival; and Best Musical Feature at the Las Vegas International Film & Screenplay Festival.
