Hijack is a seven part thriller miniseries created by George Kay and Jim Field Smith, who also wrote and lead directed the series respectively. The series is set to make its global debut with the first two episodes on June 28, 2023 on Apple TV+.
Starring SAG Award-winner and Emmy Award-nominee Idris Elba as Sam Nelson, an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers of a flight from Dubai to London. Hijack also stars Archie Panjabi, Christine Adams, Max Beesley, and Eve Myles.
The drama thriller is executive produced by Idris Elba, Jim Field Smith, George Kay, Hakan Kousetta, Jamie Laurenson, and Kris Thykier.
