The screenplay is written by Kevin Biegel and Scotty Landes, inspired by the 2016 stand-up routine of the same name created by Bert Kreischer. The Machine is scheduled to be released by Screen Gems on May 26, 2023, in US theaters nationwide, with a live pre-show with Bert on May 25.
The film is produced by Maxim Ajjawi and Peter Atencio. Bert Kreischer stars as a fictionalized version of himself. The film also stars Mark Hamill, Jimmy Tatro, Iva Babić, Stephanie Kurtzuba, and Jess Gabor.
