Mac and Charlie go on a road trip with their moms to get their inheritances — for Mac, it’s letters written by his grandfather which have fallen into his Uncle Donald’s hands, while for Charlie, it’s a jar of teeth that is now in the hands of his sisters, Bunny and Candy. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an American sitcom created by Rob McElhenney and developed by McElhenney and Glenn Howerton that premiered on August 4, 2005, on FX and later FXX beginning with the ninth season in 2013. With its 15th season, the series became the longest-running live-action American comedy series, replacing The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. In December 2020, the series was renewed for a total of four additional seasons, bringing it to 18 seasons. The 16th season is set to premiere on June 7, 2023 on FXX. This season will have next day availability on Hulu and will be available on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories.
The series follows the exploits of “The Gang”, a group of five ne’er-do-wells who own and operate the Irish dive bar Paddy’s Pub in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
