The Marvels 2023
The Marvels is an American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel. It is intended to be the sequel to the film Captain Marvel (2019), a continuation of the television series Ms. Marvel (2022), and the 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Nia DaCosta (Little Woods, Candyman) from a screenplay she co-wrote with Elissa Karasik, Megan McDonnell, and Zeb Wells, based on the character created by Gene Colan and Roy Thomas. The Marvels is set to be released in US theaters nationwide on November 10, 2023, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
The superhero film is produced by Kevin Feige with production company Marvel Studios. The Marvels stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon.
The Marvels centers on the team-up of Danvers, Rambeau, and Khan. Following an investigation into a wormhole linked to the Kree, Carol Danvers’ powers become entangled with those of Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan, with the trio swapping places with each other every time they use their powers, forcing them to work together to determine why.
