In a small town in Texas, twenty down-on-their-luck folks compete to win a brand new pick-up truck in an annual endurance contest known as “Hands on a Hardbody”. Startattle.com – One of These Days 2023.

One of these Days is a drama film written and directed by Bastian Günther (Autopilots, Houston, California City). It is set to be released by Gravitas Ventures in select US theaters on April 14, 2023.
The film is produced by Martin Heisler and Peter Veverka. One of These Days premiered at the Berlin Film Festival on February 22, 2020. It was released in German and Austrian cinemas in May 2022.
One of These Days is based on true events and tells the tragedy of a curious competition: every year a Texas car dealer donates a brand-new pick-up for this purpose , which is won by the person who touches the car with their hand the longest without a break. Armed only with their dreams and determination, the participants forgo basic human needs to stand around the pickup truck for days to beat out their competitors. Each contestant has their own reasons for joining the contest, and as the hours tick by, their humanity is laid bare. Who will hold on and win – and at what cost?
