Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism (aka In God’s Care) is an Australian horror film directed by Nick Kozakis, in his second feature after co-directing Plague and several shorts and music videos previously. The screenplay is written by Alexander Angliss-Wilson, developed by Pablo Zubieta, and edited by Sarah Baker and Jason Buckley. The film is said to be inspired by true events, most likely the tragic 1993 exorcism case of Joan Vollner from Antwerp, Victoria. Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism is set to be released in the United States by XYZ Films on April 6, 2023 on VOD and digital platforms.
The horror-crime film is produced by Tony Coombs, Lauren Simpson, and Timothy Whiting. Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism had its world premiere at the Overlook Film Festival on March 31, 2023. The film stars Georgia Eyers, Dan Ewing, Tim Pocock, Rosie Traynor, and Eliza Matengu.
