School Spirits is a young adult drama series created by Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud for Paramount+, with Oliver Goldstick as showrunner. It is produced by Awesomeness Live-Action Studios with Goldstick, Nate and Megan Trinrud, and Max Winkler serving as executive producers. School Spirits will premiere on March 9, 2023, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada, then the following day in Australia and the U.K.
The series is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Nate and Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen. School Spirits is centered around Maddie (Peyton List), a teen girl stuck in the afterlife investigating her mysterious disappearance. Maddie goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to high school in the afterlife, but the closer she gets to uncovering the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers.
