Peter Pan & Wendy is an American fantasy adventure film directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Lowery (Deadroom, St. Nick, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, The Old Man & The Gun, The Green Knight), from a screenplay he co-wrote with Toby Halbrooks. It is a live-action adaptation of Walt Disney’s 1953 animated film Peter Pan, in turn based on the 1904 play Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up (aka Peter and Wendy) by J. M. Barrie. Peter Pan & Wendy is set to debut streaming exclusively on Disney+ on April 28, 2023.
The adventure film is produced by Jim Whitaker, with production companies Walt Disney Pictures, Whitaker Entertainment, and Roth/Kirschenbaum Films. Peter Pan & Wendy stars Alexander Molony (in his film debut) and Ever Anderson in the title roles. Jude Law, Yara Shahidi, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, and Jim Gaffigan appear in supporting roles.
