Lucky Hank Season 1
Lucky Hank is an American comedy drama television series developed by Paul Lieberstein and Aaron Zelman which is based on the 1997 novel Straight Man by Richard Russo. The series is set to premiere on March 19, 2023 on AMC.
The series is told in the first person by William Henry Devereaux, Jr. (Bob Odenkirk), the unlikely chairman of the English department at Railton College, a badly underfunded college in the Pennsylvania rust belt. Professor Devereaux toes the line between midlife crisis and full-blown meltdown, navigating the offbeat chaos in his personal and professional life – oddly proving tantrums get better with age.
Lucky Hank is executive produced by Peter Farrelly, Paul Lieberstein, Bob Odenkirk, Naomi Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero, Richard Russo, and Aaron Zelman. Lieberstein and Zelman serve as co-showrunners.
