Country Gold 2023
Country Gold is a bizarre reimagining of musical icons directed by indie filmmaker Mickey Reece (T-Rex, Me and Ichikawa, Broadcast, Mono, Climate of the Hunter, Agnes), from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Selvidge. It is set to be released by Fandor on March 16, 2023 in select US theaters, then on VOD April 4, 2023.
This fantasy comedy is produced by Kassie Gann. Country Gold had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival on July 21, 2022. The film stars Mickey Reece, Ben Hall, Ginger Gilmartin, Laurie Cummings, and Lisandro Boccacci.
