Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 Episode 7
Grey’s Anatomy is a long-running medical drama series created by Shonda Rhimes, which focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as they develop into seasoned doctors while balancing personal and professional relationships. The series premiered on March 27, 2005, on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). It was renewed through to the nineteenth season, which premiered on October 6, 2022.
The series revolves around Ellen Pompeo’s character, Dr. Meredith Grey, until its 18th season, after which it shifts to a more ensemble format, with Pompeo appearing only occasionally. Pompeo would only be appearing in a “limited capacity” in the first 7 episodes, as well as the season finale, for a total of eight out of the 20-23 episodes. But she will continue to narrate most other episodes of the season. The reduction in involvement on the series comes from Pompeo’s casting in a Hulu series on which she will also be an executive producer. The role is the first new fictional character for Pompeo since her casting as Grey in 2005.
In Season 19, Richard Flood does not return, while Scott Speedman and Kate Walsh will only appear in a recurring capacity. This will mark the first season for Alexis Floyd, Niko Terho, Midori Francis, Adelaide Kane, and Harry Shum Jr. as series regulars.
