As Far as I Can Walk follows 28-year-old Ghanaian refugee Siisi, nicknamed Strahinja, who is doing everything to integrate in Serbia. He volunteers for the Red Cross in the camp where he lives, looks for work, and plays on the local football team. But his biggest challenge, however, is to win back the woman he loves.

As Far as I Can Walk (also known as Strahinja Banović or Strahinja) is a drama film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Stefan Arsenijević (Love and Other Crimes, Do Not Forget Me Istanbul). The screenplay is written by Arsenijević, Nicolas Ducray, and Bojan Vuletić.
This drama is produced by Miroslav Mogorovic, with Gilles Chanial, Borislav Chouchkov, Kestutis Drazdauskas, Myrina Mané, and Alice Ormières serving as co-producers. As Far as I Can Walk had its world premiere at the 55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where it won five awards including Best Actor for Ibrahim Koma and Crystal Globe – Best Film. The film has picked up 20 awards so far, from the several film festivals where it played.
As Far as I Can Walk follows a young Ghanaian couple living as refugees in Belgrade. Strahinja and his wife Ababuo, both 28, left Ghana at the beginning of the migrant crisis, with a dream of a better life in Europe. They managed to reach Germany but were deported back to Serbia. Strahinja has started to build himself a career, while Ababuo is unable to fulfil her ambitions and she feels increasingly frustrated. When Ababuo disappears one day, Strahinja sets off along the Balkan migrant route for completely different reasons than anyone else: for love.
