The twenty-second season of the American reality television series The Voice is set to premiere September 19, 2022 on NBC. Blake Shelton and John Legend are set to return as coaches for their twenty-second and seventh seasons respectively. Gwen Stefani, who last coached on season 19, is set to return as a coach for her sixth season. Camila Cabello is set to make her first appearance as a coach this season. Meanwhile, Carson Daly will return as host for his twenty-second season. Beginning with this primetime scheduling cycle, only one season of The Voice will air per cyclical year.
“Hillbilly Bone” is a song written by Luke Laird and Craig Wiseman and recorded by American country music artist Blake Shelton for his extended play Hillbilly Bone. The song features guest vocals from Trace Adkins, and its chart run overlapped with his singles “All I Ask For Anymore” and “Ala-Freakin-Bama.” The song won the 2010 Academy of Country Music award for “Vocal Event of the Year,” giving Shelton his first Academy of Country Music award. Adkins included the song on the deluxe edition of his album, Cowboy’s Back in Town, which was released on August 17, 2010.
