Taurus 2022
“Taurus” is am American biographical-drama film starring Colson Baker (aka Machine Gun Kelly), Megan Fox, Maddie Hasson, and Ruby Rose. It is written and directed by filmmaker Tim Sutton (Pavilion, Memphis, Dark Knight, Donnybrook, Funny Face, The Last Son). Taurus is scheduled to be released by RLJE Films in select US theaters and On Demand on November 18, 2022.
This drama film is produced by Rob Paris, Jib Polhemus, and Mike Witherill. Taurus had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 13, 2022. The film follows rapper Cole Baker, who meanders through a toxic mix of numbness, narcissism and alienation. Having succeeded in destroying almost every relationship he has ever had, the newly divorced musician is now letting his young daughter down, just as he has everyone else around him.
Back from an exhausting tour, Cole is searching for inspiration for his next song. His personal assistant Ilana tries to keep him, and everything around him, together. Somewhere in between the studio recordings, the encounters with musical collaborators, the meetings and the interviews, the paparazzi, d–g dealers and the p—titutes, Cole has completely lost the plot.
