Scrooge: A Christmas Carol 2022
Scrooge: A Christmas Carol is a supernatural, time-travelling, musical adaptation of Charles Dicken’s ageless legend. It is written and directed by Stephen Donnelly (Monster High: Welcome to Monster High), adapted from the film Scrooge (1970) and based on Charles Dickens’ 1843 classic novel A Christmas Carol. Scrooge: A Christmas Carol is scheduled to debut streaming on Netflix on December 2, 2022.
This animated musical is produced by Ralph Kamp and Andrew Pearce. It will feature re-imagined songs by two-time Academy Award winner Leslie Bricusse OBE. Scrooge: A Christmas Carol features the voice of Luke Evans as Scrooge, Olivia Colman as Ghost of Christmas Past, Jessie Buckley as Isabel Fezziwig, as well as the voices of Jonathan Pryce, Johnny Flynn, Fra Fee, Trevor Dion Nicholas, and James Cosmo.
