Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery 2022
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (also known as Glass Onion or Knives Out 2) is an American m–der mystery film written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rian Johnson (Brick, The Brothers Bloom, Looper, Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, Knives Out). A standalone sequel to Knives Out (2019), Daniel Craig reprises his role as Benoit Blanc, a master detective taking on a new case. The film also stars a new ensemble cast consisting of Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista. Glass Onion is scheduled to have a one-week limited theatrical release on November 23, 2022, before its streaming release on December 23, by Netflix.
In the follow up to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, Tech billionaire Miles Bron invites his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island. When someone turns up d—, Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is put on the case to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is produced by Ram Bergman and Rian Johnson, with Tom Karnowski serving as executive producer. It had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2022. Knives Out 2 won the Audience Choice Award – Feature Film at the Chicago International Film Festival and Variety Collaborators Award at the Middleburg Film Festival 2022.
