Stars at Noon is a French romantic thriller film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Claire Denis (Beau Travail, Trouble Every Day, Friday Night, The Intruder, 35 Shots of Rum, White Material, Bastards, Let the Sunshine In, High Life, Both Sides of the Blade), from a screenply she co-wrote with Andrew Litvack and Léa Mysius, based on the 1986 novel The Stars at Noon by Denis Johnson. It is scheduled to be released in select US theaters by A24 on October 14, 2022, then via streaming on Hulu on October 28, 2022.
This new erotic thriller is produced by Olivier Delbosc and Pituka Ortega-Heilbron. Stars at Noon had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Festival on May 25, 2022, where it was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or and won the Grand Prix.
