Tess Delaney gets the surprising news by estate executor Damhnaic McAuley that she has inherited half of an apple orchard from the father she never knew and has a half-sister she didn’t know about. When she visits the orchard and connects with her new-found family, she learns that the orchard is deep in debt. Using her knowledge as an antiques expert, Tess and her half-sister work to unravel the mystery of their grandmother’s “treasure” that could hold the key to saving the orchard.

Canadian-American actor Niall Matter (age 41) portrays the role of Damhnaic McAuley. Matter became known for his role in the television series The Best Years, Eureka, and Primeval: New World. He later joined Canadian television series “Remedy” and “Arctic Air”. Aside from his starring role in Hallmark Channel’s movie series Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Matter also joined Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart (Season 4) and the franchise series Father Christmas. He also starred in some Hallmark original romance movies including Stop the Wedding, Frozen in Love, Love at First Dance, Christmas at Dollywood, Country at Heart, Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater, A Christmas Together with You, and Rip in Time.
