Dynasty Series finale
The fifth season of Dynasty, an American television series based on the 1980s prime time soap opera of the same name, was announced by The CW on February 3, 2021. It premiered with two episodes on December 20, 2021, and then returned to Fridays on March 11, 2022. In May 2022, it was announced that the fifth season will be its final season.
Dynasty was developed by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, and Sallie Patrick. It is produced by CBS Television Studios, with Josh Reims as showrunner and executive producer alongside executive producers Sallie Patrick, Stephanie Savage, Josh Schwartz, Esther Shapiro, Richard Alan Shapiro, Brad Silberling, and Christopher Fife. The series premiered on October 11, 2017, on The CW in the United States, and on Netflix internationally a day later.
