The seventeenth season of the American talent show competition series America’s Got Talent premiered on NBC on May 31, 2022. The entire main cast from the previous season returned for the new season. Singer Nightbirde was ranked the favorite Golden Buzzer moment (No. 1) in AGT history, in a special retrospective episode.
Since July 2021, America’s Got Talent has run for a total of sixteen seasons, and has spawned two spin-off competitions: America’s Got Talent: The Champions, which premiered in January 2019, and AGT: Extreme, which premiered in February 2022.
“Let’s Groove” is a song by American band Earth, Wind & Fire, released as the first single from their eleventh studio album, Raise! (1981). It is written by Maurice White and Wayne Vaughn, and produced by White. The song was a commercial success, and was the band’s highest-charting single in various territories. It peaked inside the top 20 in countries including the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. In the very late 1970s and early 1980s, there was a severe backlash against disco music. In spite of this, the band decided to revive the disco sound that was included on their previous works and later records. Musically, “Let’s Groove” is post-disco, pop and funk which includes instrumentation of synthesizers and keyboards along with live electric guitars.
