See is an American science fiction drama television series produced by Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content for Apple TV+. It is created and written by Steven Knight, with the pilot directed by Francis Lawrence. The series premiered on November 1, 2019 and was renewed through the third and final season, which is set to premiere on August 26, 2022. The final chapter of See will consist of eight episodes.
The series is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia, in a brutal and primitive future, hundreds of years after humankind has lost the ability to see. In season three, almost a year has passed since Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) defeated his vengeful younger brother Edo (Dave Bautista) and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest. But when Trivantian scientist Tormada (David Hewlett) develops a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry that threatens the future of humanity, Baba returns to Paya in order to protect his tribe once more.
See is executive produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Jim Rowe, Jennifer Yale, Anders Engström and Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner.
