City on a Hill is an American c–me drama series created by Charlie MacLean, based on a story by Ben Affleck and MacLean. The series premiered on June 7, 2019 online and June 16, 2019 on Showtime. It was renewed through a third season which premiered on July 31, 2022.
The series follows Assistant DA Decourcy Ward (Hodge) and a corrupt yet venerated FBI veteran named Jackie Rohr (Bacon), who form an unlikely alliance in early 1990s Boston. Together, they take on a case that ultimately changes the city’s entire cr–inal justice system.
