Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Hallmark
Chesapeake Shores is a drama television series, based on the New York Times bestselling series of books by Sherryl Woods. It premiered on the Hallmark Channel on August 14, 2016, with John Tinker as showrunner and executive producer for the first two seasons. Phoef Sutton became the showrunner and principal writer for season five, which premiered on August 15, 2021. The sixth and final season of Chesapeake Shores, consisting of ten episodes, is set to premiere on August 14, 2022 at 8/7c on the Hallmark Channel.
The series follows Abby O’Brien Winters, a high-powered New York City career woman, who returns to her hometown of Chesapeake Shores, Maryland, after receiving a panicked phone call from her youngest sister Jess, who is renovating the Inn at Eagle Point.
In March 2021, it was announced that Jesse Metcalfe, who portrayed Abby’s first love Trace Riley, would be exiting the series. His character’s storyline concluded early in the fifth season. Actor Robert Buckley joined the main cast in season five.
