Westworld Season 4 Episode 2 HBO
Westworld is an American dystopian science fiction, neo-Western television series created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who also serve as executive producers. It is based on the 1973 film of the same name (written and directed by Michael Crichton) and, to a lesser extent, the film’s 1976 sequel, Futureworld. The series debuted on HBO on October 2, 2016. Westworld was renewed through the fourth season which premiered on HBO on June 26, 2022.
This Emmy-winning series is set in a futuristic fantasy park known as Westworld, where a group of android “hosts” deviate from their programmers’ carefully planned scripts. In the third season, the series’ setting expands to the real world, in the mid-21st century, where people’s lives are driven and controlled by a powerful artificial intelligence named Rehoboam.
Season 4 picks up over seven years later after the protracted war – humanity is finally free. Or so it seems. Maeve and Caleb begin to suspect that Hale and a host version of The Man in Black are trying to regain control of the human race. Meanwhile, Bernard returns from The Sublime. A young writer, Christina, begins to question the nature of her reality.
