Animal Kingdom is an American drama television series developed by Jonathan Lisco, based on the 2010 Australian film of the same name by David Michôd, who is executive producer for the series, alongside Liz Watts, who also produced the movie. Animal Kingdom debuted on TNT on June 14, 2016. It was renewed through a sixth and final season that premiered on June 19, 2022.
In the final season of Animal Kingdom, the Cody boys discover that they can’t outrun their past. With their empire expanding, a cold case investigation sets off a series of events that puts the entire family in jeopardy.
