American actress, musician, philanthropist, producer and former fashion model Torrey DeVitto (age 37) portrays Sarah Majors. DeVitto is best known for her notable roles in several television series including Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill, Army Wives, and Chicago Med. Her film credits include I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, K–ler Movie, Heber Holiday, Green Flash, The Rite, Cheesecake Casserole, Evidence and Stevie D. She starred in the Hallmark original movies Best Christmas Party Ever, Write Before Christmas, and The Christmas Promise.
Canadian-American actor Niall Matter (age 41) portrays the role of Rip Van Winkle Jr. Matter became known for his role in the television series The Best Years, Eureka, and Primeval: New World. He then starred in several television movies and later joined Canadian television series “Remedy” and “Arctic Air”. Aside from his starring role in Hallmark Channel’s movie series Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Matter also joined Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart (Season 4) and the franchise series Father Christmas. He also starred in some Hallmark original romance movies including Stop the Wedding, Frozen in Love, Love at First Dance, Christmas at Dollywood, Country at Heart, Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater, and A Christmas Together with You.
