Tokyo Vice is a cr–e drama television series loosely inspired by American journalist Jake Adelstein’s 2009 non-fiction book of the same name, which is a first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat. It is set to premiere on April 7, 2022, on HBO Max, with the first three episodes available immediately. The premiere will be followed by two episodes on a weekly basis until the season finale on April 28, 2022.
