It was renewed through the seventh and final season, which premiered on August 13, 2021, with four episodes being released. The final twelve episodes are scheduled to release on April 29, 2022 on Netflix.
The series tells the story of Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein, two women whose entire lives change when their longtime husbands announce that they are in love with each other and are leaving their wives, which leads to the pair going on many misadventures together as they traverse a new world of romantic relationships, se–ality, and their own budding friendship.
Grace and Frankie is Netflix’s longest-running original series, with a total of 94 episodes. It stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in the title roles of Grace and Frankie. Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen, Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael, and Baron Vaughn costar in supporting roles.
