Professional ballet dancer Skyler is here because Brandon Boyd (THE Brandon Boyd from Incubus!) reached out on Instagram and suggested Skyler give Idol a shot! Although Skyler is a natural performer onstage, the world of cameras/lighting/being on set is very new to him. He gets VERY emotional during his audition yet shows impressive control and connection.

The Donny Hathaway version from the LP Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway (Atlantic, 1972) has become one of the standout versions of the song.
