When pastry chef Kylie Watson learns she’s made it to the finals of the American Gingerbread Competition, she thinks her competitive spirit has finally paid off and hopes the publicity will help her jumpstart her new café. Startattle.com – The Sweetest Christmas movie.

Determined to enter, she reaches out to Nick Mazannti, her old boyfriend from culinary school who runs his family’s pizzeria. Nick allows her to use his industrial pizza oven at night. As the two reminisce about the dreams of their youth, their romance is rekindled.

American actress, voice actress and singer Lacey Chabert (age 39) portrays Kylie Watson. Chabert gained prominence as a child actress on television for her role as Claudia Salinger in the series Party of Five (1994-2000). Her film credits include Lost in Space, Not Another Teen Movie, Daddy Day Care, Mean Girls, Dirty Deeds and Black Christmas. She has appeared in more than 15 Hallmark Channel movies and several Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movies including A Royal Christmas, Family for Christmas, A Christmas Melody, A Wish for Christmas, Moonlight in Vermont, My Secret Valentine, “Pride, Prejudice and Mistletoe,” Christmas in Rome, and Winter in Vail. She also co-starred with Brennan Elliott in three movies for the Hallmark film series All of My Heart, and five movies for the Crossword Mysteries film series.
Actor and writer Lea Coco portrays Nick. Coco is known for the films Sinister 2 and J. Edgar, and for the television series Prison Break, Making Moves, and Queen Sugar. His film credits include Dorian Blues, The Skeptic, Saving Lincoln, and “Sympathy, Said the Shark”.
American actor Jonathan Adams (age 54) plays the role of Ralphie. Adams is best known for playing Chuck Larabee on the sitcom Last Man Standing. He also starred in the television series The American Embassy, American Dreams, Bones, Women’s M–der Club, and Revenge.
