The series premiered on SyFy and the USA Network on October 12, 2021. It serves as a sequel to Cult of Chucky, the seventh film in the franchise. Brad Dourif, reprises his role as the voice of the titular character, alongside Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise McCarthy, and Jennifer Tilly returning for their roles from the previous films.
