Bruised tells the story of Jackie Justice (Halle Berry), a mixed martial arts fighter who leaves the sport in disgrace. Years after her last fight, she’s coaxed into a brutal unsanctioned bout with the top female MMA fighter, by her manager and boyfriend Desi (Adan Canto). Jackie grabs the attention of a fight league promoter (Shamier Anderson) who promises her a life back in the octagon. But she soon deals with the unexpected return of Manny (Danny Boyd, Jr.), her 6-year old son, who she gave up for adoption as an infant. Startattle.com – Bruised 2021.
