The Masked Dancer is a British reality dancing competition television series based on the American television series of the same name. It premiered on ITV on 29 May 2021.
On 4 March 2021, it was announced that ITV were producing a local version of the American television dancing competition The Masked Dancer following the success of its sister show The Masked Singer. The show is produced by the British television production company Bandicoot, part of the Argonon Group, the same company who produced The Masked Singer. The series will consist of 12 contestants competing through seven episodes. The series was commissioned as a replacement in the spring schedule for Britain’s Got Talent, which had its upcoming fifteenth series postponed until 2022 due to health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The show premiered on 29 May 2021.
“Timber” is a song by American rapper Pitbull featuring American singer Kesha. The song was released on October 7, 2013, as the lead single from Pitbull’s extended play (EP) Meltdown EP. The song was produced by Dr. Luke, Cirkut, and Sermstyle, with additional production by Nick Seeley. The song interpolates Lee Oskar’s 1978 single “San Francisco Bay” and features harmonica player Paul Harrington, who plays through the entire song and was told to emulate Oskar.
