Eternals is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name by Jack Kirby. It is directed by Chloé Zhao (Songs My Brothers Taught Me, The Rider, Nomadland). The film is written by Zhao, Ryan Firpo, and with Patrick Burleigh contributing to the screenplay, from a story by Kaz Firpo. It is intended to be the 26th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Eternals stars an ensemble cast including Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Gil Birmingham, Harish Patel and Kit Harington.

Eternals 2021
Eternals is a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilizations. After an unexpected tragedy following the events of Avengers: Endgame, the Eternals-an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for over 7,000 years-reunite to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.
Eternals is produced by Kevin Feige for Marvel Studios. It is scheduled to be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in the United States on November 5, 2021, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
The fantasy adventure film will include Marvel Studios’ first depiction of an LGBTQ superhero. Principal photography took place at Pinewood Studios as well as on location in London and Oxford, England, and in the Canary Islands.
